I was born in Reno, Nevada on April 18, 1969. I've been drawing all my life, but only really taking cartooning seriously since 1991. Before then I was aimlessly drifting from acting (you can see me somewhere in Real Genius, but you have to look carefully) to playing keyboards in rock bands (I think I can still play "Aqualung" and "Let It Be", but don't be surprised if they sound alike) to writing C.S. Lewis-esque children's books which will never see the light of day if I have anything to say about it.. My other interests include history, politics, progressive rock and pretending I know what sports fanatics are talking about.
