By popular demand (okay, two of you asked me) here is "The Boy Shop Pets", drawn between November 1991 and January 1992. I thought it might be interesting to see how some of the early elements of the current "Newshounds" strip began to fall into place. As you can see, it's very rough. But some important developments came out of this: Kevin, previously a bit of a macho show-off, became a more sensitive character (perhaps a little too sensitive) and Ferris and Renata were introduced for the first time (both of them very different from their later characters).
